Can anyone tell me how to put a secondary dial up connection on my laptop
which is connected via a TV cable set top box at home? I want a dialup to
use when away from home and to send the occasional fax.

    Thanks in advance

My cable company is the isp and they can't be dialed up. I downlaoded
juno to use when away, free for 10 hr. a month. They have got a lot of
dial up numbers so probably will have one at least in good size cities.

    PCMCIA probably.
My IBM laptop came with one.
Some new ones have them built in.
