I recently noticed my desktop icon shortcut for Quicken was no longer
displayed in the normal manner. I checked properties to see where my Quicken
program was installed, and was surprized to find in under a folder called
Found.001 in a folder called Dir000.chk then in a folder called Quickenw. I
also found several other programs in various folders. I did have problems
witha system crash late in the summer, and expect that is why I have this
    folder.

My question is .... can I move the quickenw folder from the found001 folder
    to my c:\program files?

    Thanks

Those are scandisk recovered files/folders. If I were you,
I would uninstall Quicken, remove those folders, and
    re-install Quicken.
