    Canon 6MP.

George, that's a low level Consumer camera, the Rebel, not a pro level. So,
no, it's not pro quality. It's not expected to be. And it isn't the camera
that's the problem in that shot, it's the lens.
But you already knew that, didn't you, George?

    You can say that again.

It is the same sensor they use in all their "6MP" (interpolated)
cameras. It uses Canon's (pathetic, but) more recent "technology"
than the $8000 1Ds CMOS(though even this one still uses 486 level CMOS
    fabrication).

Foveon uses Pentium4 level fabrication technology, but incorporates
    almost 50% more transitiors than a Pentium4.

If the technology in Foveon is so great then why aren't the resulting images
way beyond 486 technology ? Instead they appear to be noisy and mis-coloured
    as ISO increases.

If the image looks like crap, then it is crap no matter what the technology.

But then a Pentium4 must be inadequate to act as a Photosensor, or, WAIT !,
it is not a CCD nor a CMOS device is it.

It's another bogus Preddy comparison, what a sad personality.
Craving for attention, and lying to get some resonse. Very sad.
