Privacy Laws initiative in the US, and not just by a small fringe of 'civil rights activists' either

Discussion in 'NZ Computing' started by Peter Huebner, Mar 31, 2010.

  1. It's refreshing to see that not everywhere in the world politicians are
pursuing the Big Brother: "all your information is belong to us"
approach, what's more, industry and academia join in the US to instigate
a law overhaul that will be one in the eye to the snooping paranoids
Blair and Brown in Britain as well as Rudd and Key who, in my
perception, have the tendency to run that way rather than the accepted
constitutional way (e.g. a warrant is necessary to tap your phone,
search your filing cabinets or read your snail-mail).
