When printing messages from Thunderbird, is there any way to eliminate the
following information that is included in the header area of the message? It
really eats up a lot of paper when printing many messages and it is also
    very distracting.

    View>>Headers>>Normal

That gets rid of most of the headers.

You can use Print Preview to experiment with the various View>>Headers
setting to see what works best for you.

To get rid of the headers entirely, copy the body of the message and
paste it into a word processor, then print.
