Printer sharing only with IPX?

Discussion in 'Wireless Networking' started by =?Utf-8?B?TWF4?=, Mar 3, 2005.

  1. Wonder if anyone else sees this...

I have a wired network, two XP machines, one with a printer. I can share the
printer if I run TCP/IP AND IPX but not if it's only TCP/IP even though I
have selected to share the printer and checked all the appropriate drivers.

I'd like to only use TCP/IP to keep it as simple (and secure) as possible as
my router is a microsoft model with wireless.
