Can anyone please help. I am trying to install a epson 440 printer, using
the printer port. During setup, I am told there is no connection to printer
port LPT1. On checking in device manager, I can see that there is no port
there, just 2 Comm ports, no LTP port. There was one before I started, but
somehow lost it. Any ideas how to reinstall the printer port? Thanks,
    Running windows98se.

Check that your LPT (printer) port is enabled in the BIOS.
