    Hi.

I just reinstalled XP Pro and Office XP and now every time I start
Word I get a Windows Intaller popup that just says

    Preparing to install

....and then it takes a little too long for Word to start.

Anybody know what's happening and how to fix it?

    Thanks.

I just tried Excel and it's even worse. It actually installs the
"Feature" and takes long enough that I can see the progress bar.

I'll try reinstalling Office but I'd still like a reply if anyone
knows what's going on or how to fix it.
