Anyone getting an unsolicited email trying to get you to download a popup
    blocker?
    This is the content:

    "Hi
    Do you hate POPUPS ?

I just installed this free Popup blocker toolbar on my browser, It will Kill
    ALL Annoying Popup Windows.

    Download from here: Click Here
    (its a 10 seconds download with a 56k modem)

This is a one time automatic tell-a-friend message from your friend. "

This is coming from our own email addresses, and is going out to all sorts
of people. Curious if anyone else has had the same.

    Cheers

    Hi all

    What about this?

Google has a cool little search toolbar which also blocks Pop-ups (440K
    download)
The pop-up blocker requires Internet Explorer 5.5 or later though.

    http://toolbar.google.com/

    Cheers

If this is the one I think it is, installing the "blocker" will turn your
machine into a popup spam factory.

    Disable the MS messenger service.

It's a trojan called zeropopup that sends itself to everyone in your
    address book.
