When I try to e-mail an Autocad .PLT file it is interpreted as a text file,
not a PLT. Is there a way to change this?

  2. What you're saying is that it is a binary file, right? Name it a jpg or
an exe or an img or something.

No, It is a plot file produced by Autocad. It has a plt extension which can
be read and plotted by most plotters.
