Hi, I was wondering if anyone would be generous enough to review my
hijackthis log for me because I'm having the most frustrating problem
with my network connection and I can't figure out what it is. It seemed
to happen around the same time that I removed Mcafee firewall, and it
didn't fully uninstall because I kept getting these error messages from
Mcafee every time I would boot up. Finally I went into the registry and
deleted every key and string with "mcafee" in it, and now the errors
are gone but still no connection. I've had no internet connection for 5
days now and I've been up all night and day trying to fix this problem.
I want to pull my hair out! So I figured maybe I have some virus that
wasn't detected by nod32 or ewido, or maybe some remnants of mcafee
that are still running that are causing the problem. Any help would be
    appreciated! Thanks

Please. There was no need to re-quote the entire log file. Thanks for
your consideration in proper trimming in the future.

That's true, but I decided to respond as the op sent the message.
Maybe I could have just kept a bit of it so they would not be confused.

LOL, PCBUTTS just posts the logs to one of the HJ Forums listed on the
vendors download site and waits for a response, you've never really seen
    any technical help from him.

Your log is clean. To fix your internet try this, from a command prompt
(start>run>cmd>enter) type netsh winsock reset then press enter. That
command will reset/rebuild your tcp/Ip stack and settings. You will have to
    reboot when done.
