  2. Thanks - I don't usually post on PAMD, so wondered what this was all about.

Really? You know I'd never have guessed there was anything remotely dodgy
    with a replacement URL like "t-warez.com"... <gd&r>

But I guess it means I may have to consign that email address to the
bitbucket, since it's now in the hands of scumbags.

I'm not sure a catscan would tell you much.

  5. I was sure that everyone was aware of the meaning of "warez".
Warez is the underground name for "illegally obtained software", "cracked
software" or "software + serial number".
Warez sites are also buddies with "crackz" sites, which provide you serial
numbers for "registering" illegal software, "keygens" (key generators) for
generating valid keys and "register" your illegal software, cracks for
modifying program codes and thus avoid time bombs or pop-up reminders.
I was surprised to see warez sites in planetamd front page.
PlanetAMD is a "clean" space with legal downloads.
Didn't even try to go to the suggested "friendly" sites.
Even though you may not download anything from those sites, your machine
would surely get infected with many virus-like things like adware, cookies,
    plugins, etc.
    Stay away from warez.

If you can register at an internet site (however pathetic) you must have
    SOME grey matter.
    Probably seriously compromised...

They just took it down again. This is not a good thing. And with the new

  15. Oops!
    Sorry for the misunderstanding, Steve.
Let's just hope that my warez tutorial was useful for those who are "unawarez"
Planetamd64 is back online again, btw.
