PKCS12 bag

Discussion in 'Computer Security' started by Vincent Kirsch, Dec 9, 2003.

  1. Hello,

I have some test certificates in a PFX format.

I parse them using this command:
    openssl pkcs12 -in <file.pfx> > <resultfile>

When I open the result file, the first thing I see is 'Bag Attributes'

Can someone just tell me what 'Bag attributes' are, and what is hidden
    behind the term 'bag'??

    Thank you so much.
