PIX Authentication

Discussion in 'Cisco' started by Steven Coutts, Jun 7, 2005.

  1. We are currently using a PIX to authenticate users against a Radius server
before they connect to a VPN.

Is it possible that if we had a second VPN link, PIX and server, that when
the user telnets to one PIX and authenticates it would open the port on
both PIX's instead of just the one they have telnetted too. Or am I stuck
with having them authenticate twice to both PIX's to open the port on both.

Problem I have is that if I introduce a second VPN setup the software will
randomly connect to either IP (works great), but I need secure
authentication to the PIX first so need the port opened on both.

    Regards
