Pix 535 Failover bundle/DSL question

Discussion in 'Cisco' started by Mike Harrison, Jul 12, 2003.

  1. I purchased a Pix 535 Failover bundle set from a Dot com that went belly-up
(600 dollars) The fans on the units are real loud and seem unnecessary for a
home office can I open the unit up and disable some since the room has AC?
and has anyone been able to get Failover working with PPPOE DSL? Along with
the bundle I purchased a Catalyst 6500 but I cannot get in since it has a
passwordset and I cannot get in, anyone have a link for information
    regarding resetting this system.

    google using site:cisco.com
Cisco is very good about publishing the reset procedures.
    The default password is "cisco".
