    I tried to set up a VLAN on my inside interface. For some reasons the servers on the vlan segment cannot ping the pix at all.

    My servers and the pix are connected on 1 Dell switch. I didn't create any Vlan group on the switch.

    interface ethernet1 vlan1 physical
    interface ethernet1 vlan2 logical

    nameif ethernet1 inside security100
    nameif vlan2 dmz security50

    ip address inside 10.1.1.3 255.0.0.0
    ip address dmz 192.168.254.1 255.255.255.0

    I have a server at ip 192.168.254.2, but I cannot ping each other 192.168.254.2 <-> 192.168.254.1

    Any suggestions?
