PIX 501 - erase all config

Discussion in 'Cisco' started by Paul Hutchings, Jan 24, 2004.

  1. Got a PIX 501 and we're changing ISPs so I'd sooner start totally from
    scratch..

Am I right in thinking that from the CLI I do "write erase", "write mem"
and "reload" and then RTFM to set the interfaces and rules and stuff up
    from scratch again?

    regards

  2. write erase
    reload

    is sufficient

write mem puts the loaded config back into start, so dont do that
