Does anyone really believe a message like this would be sent out on
    Christmas day?

reels of the new Rocket Man chapter-play to Annie's house, would she
have waited, parcelling out only one a week, or even one a day? I'm
against it Just because she doesn't have anyone to chatter with
all day doesn't mean she is incapable of understanding that accidents
can happen; she could fall downstairs and break an arm or a leg, the
barn might catch on fire =3F How many t
imes have you heard this supposed telephone ring? </font></p></html>

The rest of it is a big image.

I got the eBay one also and it was actually quite convincing because,
when I clicked on the link in the email, the domain name in the Safari
address bar was 'signin.ebay.com'. Can someone enlighten me as to how
    this is technically possible?

    Description:
A weakness has been reported in Safari, which can be exploited by malicious
people to trick users into visiting a malicious website by obfuscating URLs
    displayed in the status bar.

The problem is that the browser fails to show the correct URL in the status
bar if an image control has been enclosed in a hyperlink and uses a form to
specify the destination URL. This may cause a user to follow a link to a
seemingly trusted website when in fact the browser opens a malicious
    website.

I ALWAYS report all spam to spamcop.net, I also ALWAYS report the spams
to a number of secondary addressess from this site :

    http://banspam.javawoman.com/report3.html

The spams that piss me off most are the ones from Brazil that have URLs
to viruses/trojans, I now have about 20 sites that are firewalled
permanently because they keep comming and keep pointing to the same sites
