Pegasus spam filters

Discussion in 'Computer Support' started by Bryce L. Martin, Jul 27, 2005.

  1. I am using Pegasus Mail Vers. 4.2, and I am having trouble with the spam
filter function. The "Junk or Suspicious Mail" function works great except for
one thing. Often if a friend or relative sends an e-mail with an attachment it
will go into the junk folder.
I have set up a "Friends and Family" list, and have set a rule to send
anyone on this list to the "Friends and Family" folder. Still some of these
messages end up in the junk folder.
Does anyone know a way to completely exempt my "friends and family" list
from going thru the spam filters.

Thanks in advance for any info anyone can give me.

Although Pegasus is my favorite Win email client, I haven't used it in
years. That said, your white filter is hierarchically first, right?
Is it looking at name or email address?

Pegasus does the filters in the order they are listed. Put the "Friends"
filter above the other(s) and see if that fixes it. I've used Pegasus since
'94 but have only recently started using the spam filters so they are pretty
    new to me. HTH
