When I configure the PEAP client (Windows XP) with the "Validate Server
Certificate" option the client cannot authenticate anymore (without the
option, it's no problem at all).
The client has the certificate of the CA that issued the ACS (Radius
Server) certificate and the ACS certificate can be validated by the CA.
All seems to be set-up perfectly - if it only worked.
Maybe someone can tell me, how the client makes sure, the certificate is
from the correct server (the validation is no problem). This must
somehow be done by the CN of the certificate, but how does the client
know which CN to expect? It can't be a reverse DNS lookup, because the
client does no have connectivity yet. Might this be my problem?

    Thanks, Igi.
