Passed 070-272

  1. So I sat for the second exam of my MCDST today. I had read on the newsgroups
that this was supposed to be the easier of the two, though frankly I had
trouble believing that. Sure enough, I knocked it off in thirty-two minutes
(a personal record by far) and scored a 918 (also a personal best).

I have been trying to recall the first exam I passed on the MCP program -
070-210: Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft Windows 2000
Professional. Granted I was nowhere near as advanced in the field as I am
today, but I really do not remember it being this easy. For a few minutes I
tried to think of what I scored, until I realized that it was during the dark
period, where Microsoft exams were PASS or FAIL. I think I will have to dig
up that particular Readiness Review Suite and see how much easier or harder
    it would be than this.

Anhow it's done... I have my MCDST, and I can go back to concentrating on
network infrastructure for my MCSE and so on... it is not easier or harder,
but it is a different sphere and it is where I spend most of my time.
