parrallell/usb question

    i have got a old lap top and old pc with parrallell ports i wonderv is there
    a way of them accessing usb any feedback would be

    If your computers have PCI slots and you are running Win98 or better, you
    can probably add a USB controller card. Otherwise, if you were thinking
    about converting your parallel ports to USB ports, then no. That can't be
    done. Devices for converting a USB port to use a parallel device such as a
    printer are available, but not the reverse.
