I had fired off about 9 shots before being asked, "Are you taking
photos?" Apparently, Dpreview got production model(s) but this one was
pre-production. Obained 4hrs before the show started, and it had
undergone 3 firmware upgrades. So, I shot RAW/JPEG combos until I got
caught. I can't open the RAWS so this is a JPEG (pre-production) but
it is definitely better than the G1, G2, GF1 and GF2 at that speed.
However, according to the rep, it is about 1 stop better than the old
G's, but not at the same level as the GH2 sensor, which is better
still. I guess they saved the best for the top model, which makes
    sense.

I was carry the G1 with the older, better 14-45mm. The lens on the G3
    was the newer 14-42mm
