    Hi,

I have a three month old Panasonic x800 cellphone, the screen has suddenly
stopped working properly. It wasn't dropped, it didn't get wet, and it was
    working fine earlier today.

It displays something resembling some kind of abstract art (pretty sure it's
a glitch and not deliberate!). I bought it brand new in the box and
unopened but from someone on Trademe, so I don't have a store or anything I
    can take it back to.

Does anyone either know if Panasonic would cover it and if so do they have
an agent here, or would I have to send it to them, or otherwise can anyone
recommend any good places that do cellphone repairs?

May have been parallel imported, as many sold on trademe are. Your only
option would be to contact the seller to see if they have the original
receipt, or if they were an online retailer, they need to put things right.
