A friend who uses Outlook has this problem:

"I can no longer click on a URL address in Outlook Express and it will
bring up a web page for me. If someone gives an E-Mail or Web Page
address, I have to copy it onto Notebook and then paste it into the
address line in Internet Explorer in order to bring up the required
    pages."

I don't have Outlook Express installed so can't help him. Any ideas?

Goto control panel - Internet Properties - Advanced tab. Click on restore
    defaults.
    Worked for me.

It might be that they are choosing to read all emails in plain text
    format.

    Just a guess,

    Alan.
