An online store has an "Academic" version of this... I think it's 32-bit. I
can get just about all my OS and SW, for IBM *or* Mac, "free" from school
via MS contract (and discounts on systems from the same online store), but
only our *departments* can get their hands on OS server editions....

So I'm wondering, is this a new offering, or is it not really legit? I guess
I need to check in at school again, something I usually only do once a year
for this stuff (most of which I never install or use -- except for test
    purposes, go figure).

It costs less installed than even Linux on their server systems, which is
why it caught my eye. Talking about an entire (Intel EM64T) system for under
a grand, ready to go. Sheesh.
