Order of Program listing

  1. Hopefully this will be quick and easy.

    Win 98

    Start/Programs -- the listing is in some bizarre order, how do i get it
    to list alphabetically?

    Right click ... 'Sort by name'. Or drag the items individually
    to any order you wish.

    True, but when IE 5 was installed, it became available. Plus, if it
    WASN'T available, it sorted alphabetically anyway ...

    The "random order" (actually, normally in the date-installed order)
    is in place of the earlier alphabetical sort.
