Open ports/IPs

Discussion in 'Windows 64bit' started by =?Utf-8?B?U3Rhbmo=?=, May 25, 2006.

  1. I'm trying to Login to an AP that requires ports 20011,20012,40001 and IP's
    210.202.101.201,211.20.1.6,211.22.118.26,61.218.61.34,211.23.3.138 open.
My OS is Windows XP Professional x64 Edition.
    How do I do it?
    Thanks,
    Stanjb

  2. Open the Windows Firewall applet in the control panel and click on
Exceptions, click on Add Port, and go through the steps of adding the ports.
This is, btw, not really a 64-bit question, since the behaviour is identical
in 32-bit XP SP2. But that's OK, you're always welcome here.

    Charlie.
