ONLY USB Floppy, how to install SCSI driver?

Discussion in 'Windows 64bit' started by =?Utf-8?B?U3VucmlzZVNPTA==?=, Aug 23, 2005.

  1. I have a USB floppy drive. When I hit F6 to specify that I need to load a
SCSI driver(ADP94XX) it will take it. I can then format my drive as needed.
After this point, it asks for the driver floppy again. It appears at this
point that I have no connection to the USB floppy. I have tried
unplugging/replugging the USB Floppy drive , as well as trying the other USB
ports. I am at a loss since Windows 2003 x64 cannot be installed via
winnt.exe(I could make a CDROM boot floppy that puts a virtual A: pointed at
    my CD).

Has anyone successfully gotten around this?

Check in your BIOS settings and see if "Legacy Support" is an option for
the USB. The Legacy support is supposed to be for those OS's that do
not have native USB drivers such as DOS and Unix. I have a MSI K8T800
Neo and my USB floppy is seen during setup with the Legacy Support
    enabled in the BIOS.
