  2. I asked Jensen Harris that question on his blog, he works on the Office
    Team:

high on my list and would enable me to use the 64-bit browser more...

So far the only known 64-bit supported product in the Office 12 system is
    Exchange 12.

Thanks. Probably the most useful to have an x64 version of would be Excel.

Maybe I am wrong but my Office 2003 works fine on x64. Especially after they
released SP2 so Outlookworks with 4GB of ram, just thought to let you know.

  5. Well, he is referring to a native 64 bit edition of Office, Office 2003 is
    32 bit.

  7. I suspect Microsoft won't do a native 64-bit Office 12, it just doesn't make
sense, maybe certain modules such Excel will be written to take advantage of
some the power and it will probably be back-end features you will only find
    on a Server.
