odd problem internet explorer

A customer is having an odd problem with IE6 on WinXP. When she downloads
regular files, such as .exe and .mp3 etc she gets the normal request asking
    where to save etc.

However, if she downloads a *.zip file no request comes up, and in the
bottom left hand side of IE window it indicates that the file is been
downloaded. Once downloaded it opens (as an extracted file), and is
    resideing in the Cache.

    Anyone think of a solution??

It might be the case of "WinZip Internet Browser Support Add-On"
    installed on her machine:
    http://www.winzip.com/ibrowser.htm
"The WinZip Internet Browser Support Add-On, a separate, free program
that works with WinZip, automates much of the work normally
associated with downloading compressed files from the Internet. When
you click on a Zip file using Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape
Navigator/Communicator, this add-on will enable WinZip to take over
when the download is completed. WinZip automatically moves the
downloaded file to your download folder (initially set to
c:\download) and then (optionally) opens the file. "

It seems to be downloading into the cahce, and using XPs built in
decompression programme to open the files.
