ODBC Connection fault

Discussion in 'Windows 64bit' started by =?Utf-8?B?R2FyeQ==?=, Sep 20, 2005.

  1. I have an application I need to run on an x64 box; it is fundamentally an
Access application that connects to a SQL server via ODBC. I've setup the
DSN on the x64 workstation just as I've done previously, using the built-in
SQL server DSN/ODBC 'hook' provided with x64, and the connection tests OK in
the ODBC configurataion. However, when I try to run the application, the
    ODBC connector fails.

    Any ideas?

  2. You need native 64-bit drivers for ODBC, you could check the
microsoft.public.access.odbcclientsvr group and post a query about this,
maybe they will give you some information about when support is coming.
