Sounds as though NTL are having e-mail problems again (or still). Isn't
there a 'system status' page or some such thing?

Hi Andrew. As an NTL customer, you can D\load and install
`Broadband Medic`. go and do it. it will sort out your internet problems
    for you.

Check out your own ISP's Service Status page...
    http://www.ntl-isp.ntl.com/ServiceStatus/
They have outages and planned maintenance, either of which could be
affecting your service depending on where you live.

Have you considered that the best place to ask about an outage of your ISP's
mail service is your ISP rather than a newsgroup read by / contributed to by
hundreds / thousands of people that don't use your ISP?
