ntfs.sys corrupted?

Discussion in 'Windows 64bit' started by =?Utf-8?B?Wmlvbng=?=, Oct 15, 2005.

  1. Hi,
i'm trying to install xp professional x64 trial on a machine with p4 640 on
a ASUS p5wd2 but when i run the set up, after the booting, the installation
load some driver and finally comes with the error "The file ntfs.sys is
corrupted. Press any key to continue".

I've tried to add the needed 64bit drivers pressing F6 during the
installation (for SATA and U-ATA RAID controllers) but it is always the same.
I've tried also to re-burn the cd, but no way.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanx a lot in advance,

    Zionx
