    Hi ng,

I read that it is substancially better to apply noise reduction (the
subtraction of a template for, say, pattern read noise or thermal
noise) to raw data but that current raw converters cant do this
directly. As Im quite new to digital photography, can someone explain
or give me a hint how to do this?

    Best regards!
