    PLEASE HELP:

I was using my laptop to browse the Internet when the wireless connection kept on going "Local Only" and I lost connection.

I rebooted, disconnect the wireless connection; connected to the wireless connection and still the same problem - "Local Only". Suddenly, I get an error message that something change with my window log on and Microsoft no longer sees my laptop software Activated. I also get an error message for the internet connection.

I tried to diagnose it the internet problem. At first it work but then the same thing happen again. When I tried to diagnose the connection again it says there is no connection problem. But now i get an error on my Wireless Adapter 6To4 and my bluetooth is also not working.

I call tech support at Time Warner-Road Runner Cable and after they spent an hour with me diagnosing the problem they said i have a computer problem. Time Warner Tech said I have a "WINSOCK ERROR" and I should contact my computer manufacturer.

The tect guy did a ping of yahoo and got a message; they check my firewall connection; they check my antivirus security (CA Security Center); reset the box; and ping other stuff and still INTERNET EXPLORER & MOZILLA FIREFOX won't open any web pages.

Other people who have laptop at my house can get wireless connection but not my laptop.

    I have a HP PAVILION DV9500T - WINDOW VISTA ULTIMATE (64 BIT) - INTEL CORE 2 DUO T7500 - 2.2GHZ/4MB L2 CACHE - 2GB DDR2 SYSTEM MEMORY - 511MB NIVIDIA GEFORCE 8600M GS.

I've tried scanning for virus with CA and nothing; i did use a software for errors and they found key errors. I need more help. Someone Please help me.

    thank you.
