NM-16AM as Terminal Server?

Discussion in 'Cisco' started by Richard Westby-Nunn, Feb 9, 2012.

  1. Hi there

Can I use a NM-16AM as a terminal server to reverse-telnet to Cisco console devices? I am guessing not as these are modems, but would appreciate some feedback.

    Regards

No. Although I suppose you could make some convuluted setup with more
modems and provide your own dialtone.

You probably want to sell off this card and get the NM-16A card instead.
