We purchased the three pack of NIS 2006. 2 of 3 machines are having
    problems.

One machine is getting a script error when trying to look at the screen
listing the programs configured for the firewall. (However, if we log
on as a different user other than the normal user for that machine, we
can access the program list. )

Symantec just emailed me pointing to

    http://service1.symantec.com/Support/nip.nsf/docid/2001061413320736?Open&src=con_ols_nam

The first task in this bulletin is to uninstall Microsoft Security
    Bulletin MS03-020 Patch 818529

It seems to me that this would then leave the system vulnerable.

Question - What is the impact of removing MS03-020 Patch 818529 ? Are
the vulnerabilities addressed by that patch covered by any later
patches or will I be making my systems vulnerable in order to run NIS
    2006?

BTW - We have reinstalled the microsoft scripting.

    thanks in advance!!
