    Hi

I've got a Nikon Coolpix 3700 and I use the Nikon View software to organize,
view thumbnails, etc. On my user acount (Win XP), everything works fine. I
can see all thumbnails, enlarge them and all. On my wife's user account, she
    only
sees a few (the ones that I rotated when I downloaded the photos from the
camera) and she can't view the movies snippets. I've got all the latest
software/firmware and I'm at a loss. When she double clicks on a generic
(jpeg) thumbnail, it says "loading file" but it just hangs forever. I even
tried opening the picture with Irfanview but it said it couldn't read the
header/incorrect file type! As for the movies, Quicktime gives me an
input/output error. How is that possible if everything opens fine on my
    account?

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks

    Alex

What language is your wife XP set to ?
I heard problems when the XP language is set to Chinese [or the rest of the
East Asian font support ] .

probably a security issue where you have an admin level account and
she has a user level account. She can only see things she has been
given permission to access. You can either upgrade her account to
admin via the control panel or read up on how to set permission so
other accounts can access your files.

    Either should work.
