    And why is SP3 not installed Philo. That will put an end to the continuous updates
    that you are encountering

    One trojan is one too many for me. One thing I do is have a cd with
    SP-3 for easy initial install. But still the updates after that are
    many.

    I was just being sarcastic I was trying to imply that my PC was so old that
    it doesn't even know what a DVD player is.

    Just installed and updated a Win XP SP3 machine and did the updates
    which were 56 in number which are quite a few and you must consider
    that there are 3 updates that must be installed before you can look at
    the update page.
