    let's discuss it right here...
    i just started to read Kalani's guide for 70-316 and what i noticed is that
    the author is avoiding to mention bugs that are present in the framework, to
    give some examples:
    there is the MessageBox bug when you are not able to make the Box appear
    right in the front of the form, not in the center of the screen:
    public static DialogResult Show(IWin32Window, string, string)
    if you use this for the first parameter, the box will still appear in the
    center of the screen

    or he doesn't mention the folderBrowserDialog at all, and that dialog also
    has a bug on a win2000 platform, when the NewFolder button is still present
    after you set ShowNewFolderButton to false

    for the guided practice exercise 2_1, to add the list of controls in the
    fisrt groupbox he is invoking String Collection editor, and writes them by
    hand, while imho it would be better to add them dinamically in the
    constructor:

    // Add control names from first GroupBox to the ComboBox
    foreach(Control oo in grpConsole.Controls)
    {
    if(!this.comboBox1.Items.Contains(oo.GetType().Name))
    {
    this.comboBox1.Items.Add(oo.GetType().Name);
    }
    }

    and i think it is a great book, i didn't have any idea of windowsforms, and
    after reading the first two chapters, i already developped an application
    that is used in real life, and the users are very happy
    looking forward to read it all...
