    Warner Brothers heads towards the close of the year with a rather eclectic
    group of announcements. Love them or hate them but a series of movies
    spanning most of the eighties into the nineties the Police Academy flicks
    are coming to DVD on April 4th. Included are Police Academy, Police Academy
    2: Their First Assignment, Police Academy 3: Back in Training, Police
    Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol, Police Academy 5: Assignment: Miami Beach,
    Police Academy 6: City Under Siege and Police Academy 7: Mission To Moscow.
    All are listed as mono audio and 1.85:1 anamorphic video. The first film
    will retail for $19.97 with all the others coming in at $14.97. For those
    die hard fans you can get the entire collection for the discounted price of
    $59.95.

    If Mel Gibbson's serious dramas are more to your liking than you may be
    looking forward to The Warner Brother's release of Hamlet (1990) and Man
    Without A Face (1993) due out on February 24th. Each will retail for $19.97
    and include Dolby stereo audio and anamorphic video.

    Fans of silent comedy will enjoy the Charlie Chaplin releases due out from
    Warner Brothers on March 2nd. Included are The Circus (1928), City Lights
    (1931), The Kid (1921), King In New York / A Woman Of Paris (2-Pack) and
    Monsieur Verdoux (1947). Each lists for $29.95. That date will also bring
    Chaplin Collection #2 featuring all of the above for $99.92.

    Warner Brothers is adding to their documentary collection with the March
    16th release ofg Empires: Roman Empire In The First Century retailing for
    $24.98.

    Bandai Entertainment has three variations of the anime flick Galaxy Angel:
    What's Cooking due out on March 2nd. The regular version will list for
    $29.95, a collector's edition in a special 'art box' for $39.95 or the
    limited edition release for $59.95. All are in English dubbed Dolby Stereo
    and full screen. The extras for the limited edition are listed as Now I get
    it! GA lectures; Promo clip; Textless opening; Entire Galaxy Angel figure
    collection 4.5" (5 figures); Pencil board set; Exclusive Broccoli 16 Page
    Galaxy Angel booklet; Trailers.

    Bandai Entertainment also will release Android Kikaider: Silent Journey
    (V.4), Infinite Ryvius: Tension (V.3) and .hack//SIGN #6: Terminus on
    February 3rd with Witch Hunter Robin: Inquisition following on February
    17th.

    For those out there that like trains and railroads Red Distribution has a
    few titles for you set for release on March 9th. Included are Al Andalus
    Express, American Orient Express, Blue Train Of South Africa, Ghan, New
    Polar Express, Northern Belle: British Orient Express and Royal Canadian
    Pacific. Each lists for $9.99.

    Camp Cucamonga will be released by Hen's Tooth on March 23rd for a retail of
    $19.95.

    Universal has announced a couple of extras for the March 9th release of
    Schindler's List. Now listed are; Voices From the List; The Shoah Foundation
    Story with Steven Spielberg; Cast and Filmmakers; About Oskar Schindler.
    Also from the Shoah Foundation Universal has Broken Silence scheduled for
    March 9th with a list price of $26.98.

    Sub Rosa will release Mad Jack and Crack on February 24th for a list price
    of $12.95.

    On February 10th Warner Brothers has something for the young fans of the
    Veggie Tales series. Veggie Tales Classics: Dave And The Giant Pickle,
    Veggie Tales Classics: Lyle The Kindly Viking, Veggie Tales Classics:
    Ultimate Silly Song Countdown and Veggie Tales Classics: Where's God When
    I'm Scared will retail for $14.95 each.

    Warner Brothers has some animation ready for release on March 3rd. Included
    are Adventures Of Batman And Robin: Poison, Zorro: First Encounter / Beastly
    Battles / High Seas Hero, Adventures Of Batman And Robin: School Dayz /
    Spellbound, Adventures Of Batman And Robin: The Joker / Fire And Ice,
    Adventures Of Batman And Robin: Tech Wars / Disappearing, Snow Queen (1998)
    and Tale Of Cinderella. Each title is $12.98 retail.

    Rounding out the latest announcements from Warner Brothers is Ripley's Game
    (Widescreen). Listed as having Dolby 5.1 audio and anamorphic 1.85:1 video
    for a list of $26.95.

    Rykodisc is covering a lot of genres with the releases they have planned for
    February 24th. Included are Blind Beast, Blood Sisters Of Lesbian Sin,
    Crapston Villas: Best Of #1, Cuban Hip Hop All-Stars, Dayna Kurtz: Postcards
    From Amsterdam, Fight For Your Life, Joe Coleman: R.I.P. Rest In Pieces,
    Pterodactyl Woman From Beverly Hills (1994), Toscanini: The Maestro, Van
    Cliburn: Concert Pianist and Twisted Justice.

    BMG Music will release Wow Gospel 2004 on January 27th followed by Alan
    Jackson: Greatest Hits: Vol. 2, Disc 2, Michael W. Smith: Live In Concert: A
    20 Year Celebration and Arthur Rubinstein: Rubinstein Remembered on February
    10th.
