New Releases: Takashi Miike, Alan Clarke & Ed Wood (again): Updated complete downloadable R1 DVD DB

    Well, Buena Vista has made yet another announcement of a release date for
    the special edition of Ed Wood. Postponed, cancelled, partially released
    this time the date has been given as October 19th. The technical
    specifications are the same as the last incarnation, anamorphic video and
    Dolby 5.1, the same extras and even the same UPC is apparently being used.

    Three notable films by director Takashi Miike, The Black Society Trilogy,
    are being released on August 31st by Rykodisc.
    Shinjuku Triad Society
    Rainy Dog
    Ley Lines
    All are to have Dolby stereo audio and anamorphic video. Each will list for

    Some Christmas flicks from Warner Brothers are set for release on October
    National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation: 1 & 2 (2 Pack)
    National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation 2: Cousin Eddie's Island Adventure
    Christmas In Connecticut

    On October 12th Warner Brothers will release NBA: Ultimate Jordan (20th
    Anniversary Collector's Edition).

    Some British television drama hits the streets on September 28th care of
    Boston's WGBH public television:
    Me & Mrs. Jones
    King Lear
    Painted Lady
    Touching Evil 2 Set (3-Disc Set)

    The new director and actor tables are now available for search and download.
    You can build your own database by adding these tables to the downloadable
    database or search for your favorite directors and actors. Thanks to all out
