New Releases: T3, Image horror, anime: Updated complete downloadable R1 DVD DB & info lists

    With the holiday weekend the studios are typically light with announcements.
    Image has spaced out their monthly mass announcements and got some in just
    before the long weekend. On November 18th they have a classic television
    police drama set in New York City. Long before NYPD Blue there was the Naked
    City. Naked City: New York To L.A. and Naked City: Prime Of Life brings four
    episodes each to DVD.

    Also on that date Image has a couple of low budget horror flicks. Eaten
    Alive (1976), House On Sorority Row and Psychic Killer will be presented
    with mono audio and letterbox video. Each goes for $14.95. They will also
    release Our Town (1940 version), Richard Rodgers: An Enchanted Evening and
    Stanley Jordan: Live At Montreaux. For November 25th they have Berlin:
    Intimate, Bill Wyman's Blue Odyssey: A Journey To Music's Heart And Soul,
    Cut Up: The Films Of Grant Munro, Emperor Jones and It (1927).

    Central Park has something for the anime fan. October 28th brings out Anime
    Test Drive (12-Pack for $95.99), Anime Test Drive: Legend Of Himiko, Anime
    Test Drive: Maze, Anime Test Drive: Now And Then, Here And Now, Anime Test
    Drive: Patlabor - TV Series, Anime Test Drive: Ping Pong Club and Anime Test
    Drive: Record Of Lodoss War - Chronicles Of The Heroic Knight.

    Warner Brothers has finally provided the release announcements for
    Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. The UPC numbers have been issued,
    085392772322 for the anamorphic widescreen version and 085392772223 for the
    Pan & Scan version. Both will have Dolby 5.1 audio. The extras were stated
    as including the HBO first look featurette, Skynet Database (interactive
    dossier of the characters), a costume and production mini-documentary, two
    audio commentaries with director Jonathan Mostow and stars Arnold
    Schwarzenegger, Nick Stahl, Claire Danes and Kristanna Loken, an
    introduction by Arnold Schwarzenegger, 'unseen footage', a blooper reel,
    Easter Eggs and a featurette on the creation of the special effects. Each
    version has a suggested price of $29.95. The release date is confirmed as
    November 11th.

    In addition, the WB has Prince Charming, Second Nature on November 11th and
    Gremlins / Gremlins 2, Malibu's Most Wanted (Special Edition/ Widescreen),
    New York: The Center Of The World set for next week, September 9th.
