New Releases: Preliminary Fox & Buena Vista: Updated complete downloadable R1 DVD DB & info lists

    Alpha Video has several titles for release on August 19th including Love
    Affair, Mystery Liner, One Step Beyond (the 1959 TV show), Scarlet Letter
    (1934), Shriek In The Night, Svengali, Three Musketeers #1 and Three
    Musketeers #2.

    From Central Park Media something for anime fans on October 14th there is
    DNA2 #5: Epiphany, DNA2 Collection, Legend Of The Dragon Kings: Red Dragon,
    Patlabor: Mobile Police / Original Series Collection, Revolutionary Girl
    Utena: Revelation and Time Stranger.

    Some very preliminary announcements from Buena Vista. On November 11th
    Jefferson In Paris, Money For Nothing, Shadow Conspiracy and Shoot To Kill.
    For December Blame It On The Bellboy and In The Army Now. On October 14th
    Lion King (Special Edition/ Gift Set) and Lion King (Special Edition) will
    hit the stores. There will be 5.1 audio and anamorphic widescreen for both.

    Preliminary announcements have also been made by Fox for a series of special
    edition releases on October 14th. Included are Abyss (Special Edition/
    DigiPack), Cast Away (Special Edition/ DigiPack), Christmas Carol (1984) /
    Miracle On 34th Street (1994), Die Hard (Special Edition/ DigiPack),
    Independence Day (2-Disc Special Edition/ Widescreen/ DigiPack), It's A
    Wonderful Life (Special Edition)/ Miracle On 34th Street (1947), Planet Of
    The Apes (2001/ 2-Disc Special Edition/ DigiPack) and Sound Of Music (2-Disc
    Special Edition/ DigiPack). More on these DigiPacks as its made official.

    Confirmation from Columbia/TriStar that the first Starship Troopers (UPC
    043396717190) released on 7/11/2000 is discontinued, replaced by the two
    disc set and the Superbit release.

    original release dates now being added to the database. There is also a
