    Typical of this time of year the studios had no new announcements for DVD
    releases at the end of the week. This should let up in a week or so as
    things get back to normal. Among the 186 releases announced for next week:

    Anchor Bay has announced that Martin (Special Edition) has been
    discontinued. They have also discontinued Zombie (Special Edition/ Old
    Version), replaced by a newer release. Universal has discontinued Young
    Hercules (Jewel Case). They have also listed Tempo as cancelled.

    It seems that those that are awaiting the Trey Parker and Matt Stone Orgazmo
    (Special Edition) will have to wait a little bit more. USA has now changed
    the status of the title from postponed to cancelled. No details where given.

    Stop by for a complete downloadable information list of all region one DVDs
    in several formats as well as daily changes. The official list now features
    37,047 titles with 214 additions or changes and 287 Pre-Release
    announcements. The All Titles list has 37,334 titles. Recent releases
    include: Last Week 297, This Week 79 and Next Week 78 titles.

    Previews of Underworld, Lost in Translation, Thirteen and Family Business.
    Recent reviews include Seabiscuit, Firefly, Taken, X2: X Men United and T3.
    Classic reviews include 12 Angry Men, Bedford Incident and Them. Coming
    titles listed before all the specs are in can be found in a new list,

    Updated lists for discontinued, cancelled, postponed and rescheduled titles
    as well as lists for DTS, ES/EX and Superbit titles. UPC numbers and
    original release dates now being added to the database. There is also a
    greatly expanded list of titles that were rescheduled or reissued. Search

    Updates to the DVD database, including release specs usually made twice
    daily.
