New Releases: La Dolce Vita, 50 First Dates & Butterfly Effect: Updated complete downloadable R1 DVD

    Koch will release a newly restored and mastered version of La Dolce Vita on
    September 7th. The list price is $34.98. The announcement was light on
    details so far but it looks good for original aspect in anamorphic video and
    the original sound track.

    Coming from Troma on May 25th a batch of new releases. While most are mono
    and full screen Troma has added extras to most of the set. The list price is
    $19.95 for each. Included are:
    Killer Nerd / Bride Of Killer Nerd (Double Feature),
    Student Confidential,
    Doctor Hackenstein,
    Eye Of The Stranger.

    From Passport Video due out on July 13th:
    Worst Movies Ever Made,
    Fleetwood Mac: Unbroken Chain,

    Republic Pictures has set for release on June 15th:

    Questar has something for nature lovers out there. Coming out on April 27th
    Nature: San Diego Zoo,
    Nature: Diamonds, Nature:Holy Cow,

    Nature: Pale Male.

    If you are into the blues then Sony Music has something for you. On May 11th
    they are releasing:
    Blues: Piano Blues (with Clint Eastwood),
    Blues: Warming By The Devil's Fire (with Willie Dixon),
    Blues: The Soul Of A Man (with Lou Reed),
    Blues: Feel Like Going Home (with Taj Mahal and Willie King).
    The retail price will be $19.98.

    Columbia/Tri-Star has the latest Adam Sandler/Drew Barrymore flick, 50 First
    Dates, set for release on June 15th. There will be both a P&S and a wide
    screen release available, both with Dolby 5.1 audio. The list price was
    given as $28.95. Extras are listed as including:

    Adam Sandler And Director Peter Segal Commentary
    Behind the Scenes Featurette

    Also from Columbia on that date is Hangman's Knot retailing for $19.95.

    New Line will release The Butterfly Effect on July 6th. Listed technical
    specifications are Dolby 5.1/EX and anamorphic 1.85:1 video. List price will
    be $27.95. The announced extras include:

    Ardustry will release a new batch of DVDs from Court TV. In the first round,
    scheduled for release on May 11th and will include:
