New Releases: Dirt Dancing Ultimate, Allo Allo: Updated complete downloadable R1 DVD DB & info lists

    On November 18th Warner Brothers will add to their double feature two disc
    sets. Each goes for $39.98 and basically are the same technical
    specifications as the original discs had, mostly Dolby 5.1 and anamorphic
    video. Included are Blood Work/City By The Sea (2-Pack), Exit
    Wounds/Ballistic: Ecks Vs Sever (2-Pack), Showtime/Analyze That (2-Pack),
    Thirteen Ghosts/Ghost Ship (2-Pack) and Two Weeks Notice/Majestic (2-Pack).
    Andersonville/Gone With The Wind (2-Pack) was also announced but the
    announcement stated P&S with 5.1 audio. Hopefully this will be updated soon
    with a follow-up announcement.

    Artisan has announced the December 9th release of Dirty Dancing (Ultimate
    Edition). Listed as having Dolby EX and DTS ES 6.1 audio with a new
    anamorphic video transfer. The extras announced are; Commentary track with
    the producers, costumer designers and choreographers; Interviews with
    Jennifer Gray and other cast members; Featurette on the director; Jennifer
    Gray's screen test footage; Trivia track and Music Video. Suggested price is
    $19.95.

    Farscape Season #4: Volume #01 is being released on December 2nd by A.D.
    Vision for $39.95. The technical specifications should be the same as all
    the previous releases.

    From Universal Music on October 7th; 3 Doors Down: Away From The Sun
    (DVD-Audio), Andrea Bocelli: Arias (DVD-Audio), Cecilia Bartoli: The Vivaldi
    Album, Orff: Carmina Burana: Thielemann / Orchestra of the German Opera,
    Berlin and Vivaldi: The Four Seasons: Anne-Sophie Mutter (DVD-Audio). For
    October 14th; Celia Cruz: An Extraordinary Woman. Con Azucar, Gergiev Opera
    Collection and Los Videos Del Reggaeton 2 and on October 21st Stone Sour
    (Special Edition DVD + CD) and Van Van: Live At Miami Arena.

    Kultur will release on October 14th Inside Tolkien's Return Of The King and
    Inside Tolkien's The Hobbit for $14.95 each as well as Inside Tolkien's The
    Lord Of The Ring (Box Set) for $39.95.

    BMG has added to their November 4th releases American Idol winner Kelly
    Clarkson and Undertones: Teenage Kicks.

    Ventura has a mixed bag of releases just announced. On December 2nd
    something for extreme ski buffs Matchstick: Best Of Ski Movie Collection,
    Superpark - The Movie 2: The Timberline Sessions and Superpark 7: Cutter's
    Cup. On November 18th I Gotta Go (DVD + CD Combo Pack) and I Gotta Go.

    Due out from Kino on November 11th; Jacques Brel Is Alive & Well And Living
    In Paris (Widescreen), Lost In The Stars (Widescreen), Philadelphia, Here I
    Come (Widescreen) and Tartuffe.

    Warner Brothers along with BBC Video will release the popular Allo Allo:
    Complete Series One on January 20th for $34.98. That date will also bring
    Ballykissangel: Complete Series One and Ballykissangel: Complete Series Two
    for $39.98 as well as a box set of the two for $79.98. You may see these
    discs listed as either Warner Brothers or BBC. They have a lot of joint
    ventures and the UPC prefix is consistent with the WB label.

    A few sub titled flicks coming on December 2nd from Facet. Included are
    Brigands, Chapter VII, Ilona Arrives With The Rain, Malunde, Postmen In The
    Mountains and Red River Valley (1996). Most feature widescreen video
    although anamorphic has not been confirmed yet. Each title will go for
    $29.98.

    From Goldhil Home Media on October 7th two family films, Big Comfy Couch:
    Comfy And Joy / Jump For Joy and Big Comfy Couch: You Can Do It / I Feel
    Good. For those interested in Pilates December 23rd will see the release of
    Romana's Pilates: Optimum Weight Management, Romana's Pilates: Power House
    Mat Workout and Romana's Pilates: Ultimate Challenge Mat Workout.

    Red Distribution will release on November 4th Daryl Hall & John Oates: Live
    In Concert, Victory Video Collection #3, Out Of Ireland: The Hit Songs &
    Artists Of Irish Music, Pat Metheny: Speak Of Now - Live In Concert
    (5.1/DTS), Queensryche: Tribe and Transatlantic: Live In Europe.

    BMG Music has a number of new releases announced. On October 7th; Alabama:
    The Farewell Tour, Gov't Mule: Deepest End (CD/DVD) and King Crimson: Eyes
    Wide Open. On October 10th Eerie Indiana:Original Cast. November 4th brings
    Weird Al Yankovic: Ultimate Video Collection, Richard Smallwood With Vision:
    Praise & Worship Songs Of Richard Smallwood, Howlin' Wolf: Howlin' Wolf
    Story, Various: Exitos Del Pop En Espanol. November 11th; Foo Fighters:T B
