    Warner Brothers will release the summer remake of the classic Texas Chainsaw
    Massacre. This one featuring Jessica Biel of 7th Heaven will feature Dolby
    5.1 EX audio and anamorphic 1.85:1 video. The standard edition will retail
    for $27.95 with extras listed as Music Video: Motograter "Suffocate", 7 TV
    Spots and Theatrical Trailer. There will also be a special two disc edition
    for $39.95 with extras listed as Alternate Ending and Opening, 3 Filmmaker
    Commentaries Covering Story, Production Staff and More, commentary with
    Director Marcus Nispel, Producer Michael Bay and More DVD-Rom Feature:
    Script-to-Screen Feature Deleted Scenes, In Depth "Making Of The Film"
    Documentary, The True Story Behind The Film Documentary, Collectible &
    Removable Metal Plaque-Use For Notebooks, Lockers or Anything You Want To
    Decorate, Evidence Film With Crime Scene Photos, Art Galleries, Screen
    Tests, 7 TV Spots, Theatrical Trailer.

    Something for fans of the new California governor, Running Man: Special
    Edition will be released by Artisan on March 16th. The audio is listed as
    Dolby 5.1 EX/DTS ES with anamorphic video. The extras are listed as Lockdown
    On Main Street: Documentary about the current state of privacy and criminal
    issues in a post 9/11 society, Game Theory Documentary: An inside look at
    reality TV programming and its cultural impact on society, Audio Commentary
    with the Executive Producer
    Meet the Stalkers: Obtain inside information about the deadliest foes in The
    Running Man. The suggested retail price $19.98.

    Artisan also will release Quicksand on March 16th with Dolby 5.1 and
    anamorphic video for a list price of $19.98. Rounding out that release date
    for Artisan include: Wai Lana's Little Yogis: Volume 1, Wai Lana's Little
    Yogis: Volume 2, Gnaw: Food Of The Gods Part 2, Beyond The Stars, Anna
    (1987), Last Unicorn, Dreamkeeper, Barbie Fantasy Tales 3 Pack: The
    Nutcracker / Rapunzel / Swan Lake and Uncovered. Except for Barbie most will
    cost $14.98 to $19.98.

    Paramount has a few announcements that may gather the interest of some out
    there. The Comedy Central show Chappelle's Show will have the complete first
    season released in an uncensored format. The list price $28.95. Extras were
    given as 30 Minute Deleted Scene/Gag Reel 20 Minute Featurette Ask A Black
    Dude With Paul Mooney, Audio Commentary From Dave and Series Co-Creator Neal
    Brennan on 5 Episodes and on the Deleted Scenes/Gag Reel. Release is set for
    February 24th.

    Resurrection Blvd: The Complete First Season will be released by Paramount
    on March 30th. The technical specifications are full screen and stereo. The
    suggested price will be $49.99.

    Paramount has CSI: Crime Scene Investigation - The Complete Third Season set
    for release on March 30th. The technical specifications are Dolby 5.1 audio
    and anamorphic 1.78:1 video. These are initial specs and may be subject to
    change. Extras were listed as Audio Commentaries by Cast and Crew On Select
    Episodes, 5 Exclusive Behind the Scenes Featurettes: The CSI Tour: Police
    Station, The CSI Shot: Making It Real, The Writers' Room, CSI Moves Into
    Season 3, Crime Scene Field Kit. The list price is $79.95

    School Of Rock, featuring Golden Globe nominee Jack Black will be released
    by Paramount on March 3rd. There will be both a P&S and anamorphic
    widescreen version, both with Dolby 5.1 audio. The announced extras include
    Commentary by Actor Jack Black and Director Richard Linklater, Commentary by
    the Kids from School Of Rock, Lessons Learned In School Of Rock Jack Black's
    Pitch To Led Zeppelin, School Of Rock Music Video, Kids' Video Diary:
    Toronto Film, Festival Piece, Dewey Finn's History of Rock-Interactive
    Feature, Original Theatrical Web Site Archive, Theatrical Trailer. Either
    version will run you $29.95. On that date for real Jack Black fans you can
    get Jack Black Pack: School Of Rock / Orange County for $39.95.

    A few status changes where confirmed and processed into the database. Kill
    Bill Part One due out from Buena Vista on February 3rd has been postponed.
    No information at this point as to why or when it will reappear on the
    release schedule.

    Image has listed several of the Charlie Chaplin films as discontinued. These
    have already been announced by Warner Brothers for a March 2nd release.
    Included are City Lights, Kid (1921/ Image) / A Dog's Life and Monsieur
    Verdoux. They have also listed Doors: Live In Europe as discontinued.

    New Line has discontinued Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers (Extended Cut/
    Special Edition/ w/ Giftset). This is not unexpected since this was always
    intended as a limited release.

    Pioneer has discontinued Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974/ 30th Anniversary/
    Limited Edition) and the old version of the special edition. Texas Chainsaw
    Massacre (1974/ 30th Anniversary/ Standard Edition) has been listed as
    cancelled.

    Warner Brothers has listed several of the South Park titles as discontinued.
    Included are South Park: Ghouls, Ghosts And Underpants Gnomes, South Park
    #7: The Chef Experience, South Park: Winter Wonderland, South Park: Insults
    To Injuries, South Park #8: Christmas In South Park and South Park: Timmy!.

    As with all titles listed as postponed, cancelled or discontinued please
    check with the rescheduled list to see if a replacement is out or scheduled
    for release. The status listed by the studios are subject to change at any
    time.
