New Releases: Buffalo Soldiers, Dawson's Creek: Updated complete downloadable R1 DVD DB & info lists

    Controversial film Buffalo Soldiers, made in 2001 but only released in wide
    distribution earlier this year will hit the DVD shelves care of Buena Vista
    on January 13th for $29.99. Also on that date is Daddy And Them. Following
    on January Chump Change and Jet Lag. So far all look like they will have
    Dolby 5.1 audio and anamorphic video.

    On January 27th MPI has something for classic mystery fans. Several of the
    1940's Sherlock Holmes movies featuring Basil Rathbone will be released.
    Included are Sherlock Holmes And The Pursuit To Algiers, Sherlock Holmes:
    Dressed To Kill, Sherlock Holmes: Terror By Night and Sherlock Holmes: The
    Woman In Green. They will be available individually for $19.98 each or in
    the Sherlock Holmes Collection #3 for $69.98. They are also releasing Dark
    Shadows Set #10 and Last Ride Of The Dalton Gang on the same date.

    A.D. Vision has Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda: Season One Collection coming
    out on November 11th. For those that didn't want to piece together the
    various interim sets can get the whole season for $69.98.

    Tapeworm continues its foreign releases with Zubeidaa on October 28th,
    Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai on November 11th and Jagte Raho on November 18th.

    Universal Music has something for a variety of tastes. October 28th brings
    Culture Club: 20th Anniversary Concert: Albert Hall, La Calle Vol. 1: Best
    Spanish Hip-Hop, Ricky Skaggs: Soldier Of The Cross: The Concert and Tina
    Landon: Behind The Moves. On November 4th they have Jose Feliciano: Ayer Hoy
    Y Siempre, Hilary Duff: All Access Pass and confirmed as Dolby 5.1/DTS Peter
    Gabriel: Growing Up Live.

    Hart Sharp Video has two documentaries set for November 11th. Bob Hope: Road
    To Laughter and Seabiscuit: Lost Documentary will come out with the
    suggested price of $14.98.

    Kino has the last two parts of the Takashi Miike Dead or Alive series. Dead
    Or Alive 2 and Dead Or Alive: Final as well as all three in Dead Or Alive:
    Trilogy will street on November 25th.

    Columbia/TriStar will release Dawson's Creek: The Complete Second Season on
    December 16th. This is a four disc set that will retail for $49.95. In
    addition that date will bring Bonjour Tristesse and Henry Fool.

    Curb Your Enthusiasm: The Complete First Season comes from HBO on January
    13th for $39.98.

    Sony Music has a few sets for release. Barbra Streisand: Movie Album (CD/DVD
    Combo Limited Edition) hits the shelves on November 11th for $21.98. On
    October 21st they have Mandy Moore: Coverage (CD/DVD Pack) for $18.98 and
    Tenacious D: The Complete Masterworks will be out on November 4th with a
    confirmation of Dolby 5.1.

    Music Video Distributors will release Nat King Cole: Shows on October 21st.
    Bing Crosby: White Christmas will follow on October 28th which features the
    famous duet with David Bowie. October 21st also brings Camel: Coming Of Age,
    Jeff Scott Soto: Live At The Gods 2002 and Mastodon - Remission: Deluxe
    (CD/DVD Combo Pack Limited Edition). For those in search of some musical
    instructions October 28 has Artie Traum - Essential Dadgad For Beginners:
    Levels 2 & 3: Beginners To Intermediate, Artie Traum- Essential Dadgad For
    Beginners: Beginner Level, Artie Traum: Essential Dadgad For Beginners
    (3-Disc Set) and Artie Traum: Essential Riffsfor Guitar. For Hot Tuna fans

    Tapeworm has a set of foreign films, several from Ballywood that includes on
    November 4th April Is My Religion, Agent 15: #1. For November 25th Utsab and
    Daag. December 9th; Dharmputra, Awara. FInally on December 23rd Shree 420,
    Waqt, Lamhe and Kaala Patthar.

    Navarre has ready for release on November 11th a couple of golden age
    television shows; Adventures Of Ozzie and Harriet and You Bet Your Life.
    Also on that date are Last Ride, Distant Bridges, American Reel, Space
    Goofs: Volume 2, Oggy and the Cockroaches: Volume 1 and Oggy and the
    Cockroaches: Volume 2.
